SUMMARY:Joint Sessions of 5th Asia- Pacific Congress of Interventional Oncology Incorporating the annual Aorta & Endovascular Course & 4th annual meeting of the Society of Emergency Radiology
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to invite you to the Joint Sessions of 5th Asia- Pacific Congress of Interventional Oncology on August 25-27\, 2017. This meeting will incorporate the annual Aorta & Endovascular Course & 4th annual meeting of the Society of Emergency Radiology. It will also include a parallel track for technologists & support staff for their skill enhancement in image guided therapies. \nTen largest tertiary care teaching medical universities in India will jointly host this meeting in association with over 25 international societies\, bodies & organizations. We are happy to add that this list is rapidly expanding to include the various stake holders in the specialty\, lending credence to the famous adage that Together Everyone Achieves More. \nIntegration of image guided therapies into clinical practice in emerging world countries faces various challenges. Even though these therapies are rapidly evolving & fast changing the way we practice clinical medicine\, the benefits of these advances have not percolated to the mainstream practice of medicine in these regions. This event should help bridge this gap. We fervently hope that it will serve as an educational & skill development initiative for the budding specialists in emerging world countries. The scientific program has been carefully designed to address various issues & challenges\, from basics to cutting edge advances. This should help the delegates from Asia-pacific and emerging world countries fulfil their expectations\, enhance their skills & contribute to improvement in the quality of medical care. \nEstablished world leaders\, societies and bodies have come together to participate in this unique educational and skill development initiative. This meeting will also provide a unique opportunity for the various stake holders to interact with the regional experts\, delegates and all others involved in the delivery of health care to learn firsthand the challenges in practice of image guided therapies in these regions. \nIt is our pleasure and honor to invite you to this course. The meeting will include didactic lectures\, panel discussions\, case based sessions\, master classes\, workshops with hands-on and video demonstrations\, simulators\, oral presentations and one-to-one interaction with experts\, among others. This will also provide an ideal opportunity to build relationships among the international community. \nAugust end is a relative off season for visit to North India with plenty of discounts on boards for travel and\, perhaps\, the best time of the year to visit the hills\, especially the amazing valleys and peaks in Ladakh region. This should provide an ideal opportunity to blend academics with pleasure in this global city and amazing hill sides.
