SUMMARY:Conferencia Iberoamericana sobre Protección Radiológica en Medicina
DESCRIPTION:Objetivos\nEl objetivo principal de la Conferencia Iberoamericana sobre Protección Radiológica en Medicina CIPRaM 2016 es verificar el avance en la implementación de las acciones propuestas en la Convocatoria de Bonn\, identificar problemas y posibles soluciones\, promover buenas prácticas y definir indicadores de progreso en dichas acciones. La conferencia será también una oportunidad para el intercambio de información y experiencia adquirida en los últimos años en relación con la protección radiológica en medicina y establecer/fortalecer lazos de cooperación entre los países de Iberoamérica en este área temática. \nLa Conferencia está dirigida a todos los sectores involucrados en los usos médicos de las radiaciones ionizantes\, incluidos\, entre otros\, los profesionales de la salud (usuarios y/o prescriptores)\, autoridades sanitarias\, organismos reguladores en radioprotección\, otras autoridades competentes relevantes (por ejemplo ciencia y tecnología\, educación\, etc.)\, sociedades profesionales del área de salud\, sociedades de protección radiológica\, asociaciones de pacientes/consumidores\, fabricantes de equipos médicos (incluyendo equipamiento diagnóstico y de terapia\, equipamiento informático de gestión de datos dosimétricos\, equipamiento de control de calidad y dispositivos de protección radiológica)\, e instituciones académicas y de investigación. \nComo resultado de esta Conferencia se espera: \n\nEvaluar los progresos alcanzados e identificar los problemas reales en la implementación práctica de las acciones propuestas en la Convocatoria de Bonn en los países iberoamericanos.\nPromover el intercambio de información y experiencias entre reguladores\, profesionales y otras partes interesadas\, sobre la aplicación práctica de las normas de radioprotección en el sector salud.\nProponer acciones para solucionar problemas identificados e indicadores de progreso en el corto y medio plazo.\nExplorar mecanismos para potenciar el papel catalizador de los organismos internacionales\, y de las estructuras y redes regionales existentes.\n\nFechas de interés\nFecha límite para la inscripción: 15 de septiembre de 2016 \nFecha de realización de la Conferencia: 18-20 de octubre de 2016 \nMás información

SUMMARY:The Advanced Clinical Abdominal MRI Course
DESCRIPTION:Product Description\n\nThe Advanced clinical Abdominal MRI course is geared towards radiologists and/or senior radiologists-in-training with special interest in genitourinary\, gastrointestinal or oncological sub-specializations.\nRather unique to this course\, is the emphasis on the abdomen as a whole entity and will hold exchange of ideas that might improve patient care\, familiarization with problems and strengths of MRI for solving clinical question and with future developments.\nThe lectures will be given by world-known experts and authorities on abdominal MRI. The lectures will be in didactic form with time for questions and case presentations. \nCME Accreditation:\nAccredited with 9 CME credits.\nEACCME_LogoThrough an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association\, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/go/internationalcme. \nPrice:\nEarly Bird: 700€ (until 30th of June)\nNormal Registration: 900€ (until 30th of September)\nLater Registration: 1200€ (from 1st October onwards) \nRefund Policy:\nParticipant cancellations\nFor cancellations made up until 6 weeks before the course start 100% will be reimbursed deducting an admin fee of 100€. For cancellations made after the 6 weeks deadline there will be no entitle to reimbursement. \nTMC Cancellation\nIn case of cancellation by TMC Academy registration fees will be refunded in full. \nTransfer to other courses\nA transfer can be made to another course. A 100€ admin fee will be charged of the original amount paid and any cost difference will have to be paid.
