SUMMARY:11th Interventional MRI Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Over the past two decades image-guided therapies have expanded into every organ system and disease state. Interventional MRI has become vital to current multimodality image-guided therapies and also provides an entirely new platform for novel therapies. In light of the rapid developments in the field and due to the success of the 10th Interventional MRI Symposium 2014 in Leipzig we would like to cordially invite you to attend the 11th Interventional MRI Symposium 2016 in Baltimore\, Maryland. \nThe Interventional MRI Symposium is a cutting-edge platform for researchers\, clinicians\, and other health-care specialists to present their latest results and interact with international leaders and innovators in the field.  The current program will be composed of lectures from both invited speakers and proffered papers.  We encourage all professionals working in the field of interventional MRI to submit scientific abstracts to this symposium.

SUMMARY:Conferencia Iberoamericana sobre Protección Radiológica en Medicina

SUMMARY:ACTA 2016\, the 3rd Asian Conference on Tumor Ablation
DESCRIPTION:Dear colleagues and friends\, \nOn behalf of the Organizing Committee of Asian Conference on Tumor Ablation (ACTA)\, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 3rd ACTA to be held under the theme of “Toward Precision Ablation” at Asan Medical Center in Seoul\, Korea from October 28 (Fri) to 29 (Sat)\, 2016. \nSwitching from Japan-Korea image-guided tumor ablation meeting since 2009\, the 1st ACTA was held in Taipei\, Taiwan in 2014. The 2nd ACTA held in Fukuoka\, Japan\, in 2015 was very successful with over 250 attendees from over 16 countries including Europe and USA. \nInterventional oncology (IO) has become widely accepted as the fourth column in oncologic management. Tumor ablation is the mainstay of IO due to its minimally invasive nature and excellent results in local tumor control. The 3rd ACTA 2016 will be a fascinating opportunity for you to learn from highly esteemed faculty from over the world who will discuss the current status on tumor ablation and intra-arterial therapy for malignant tumors in various organs using diverse energy. \nACTA 2016 offers two days of intensive programs packed with plenary lectures\, scientific presentations\, and case contest. Exciting sessions titled “ACTA meets WCIO”\, “Secret sauces for successful ablation”\, “Ablation beyond liver”\, and “Ablation: Basis and Beyond” are also things to look forward to. In addition\, activity of the ACTA guideline\, multicenter trials\, and education committee will be presented during the meeting. ACTA 2016 will be held with the 9th Annual Meeting of Korean Society of Image-guided Tumor Ablation (KSITA) and the 3rd Korean Conference on Interventional Oncology (KCIO). \nWe look forward to sharing with you the state-of-the-art in tumor ablation at ACTA 2016 and we hope that you will take back great memories from the dynamic and beautiful city of Seoul\, Korea.
